Check-in time: 6-7:30 a.m. at The Bagel Shop, 103 N. Fayetteville Street to receive booth assignments as the floor plan has somewhat changed

1 - 10 p.m.
Free Admission, Free Parking
7 a.m. - Cooking begins - come watch the fun and smell turkey, chicken, beef, veal, venison, vegetables and beans cooking. Meet the cookers. They'll be stirring up chili the rest of the day.
11:00 - 11:15 a.m. - Chant (band)
11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Veronica's Blood (band)
12:50 p.m. - National Anthem
1 p.m. - Cookoff officially opens and judging begins
1 - 2 p.m. - Southbound 49 gets your foot tapping
1 p.m. - Free chili tasting begins (other foods available from vendors and at downtown restaurants)

6:45 - 8:00 p.m. - Chili Cookoff Talent Search, sponsored by Sonic Records and Talent Search TV, open mic
8:30 p.m. - 9: 30 p.m. Rocking Horse (band)
9:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. - Door Prizes and Raffle drawing

PARKING
Handicapped parking is available in a city lot adjacent to the railroad track. All surfaces are paved and pretty much flat with very little grade.
