What Does Downtown Asheboro Look Like?

It's a cute town with a very vibrant economy. When you come for the cookoff, you'll see a selection of stores, restaurants and the Sunset Theater - where 175 events are slated so far for 2009! Plays, concerts, movies, lectures and more.

As you walk around, you'll see some very unusual sculptures, too. Our community is rich with artisans, and many of them have created the masterpieces you'll see. Look around corners, up on walls and throughout downtown.

The Asheboro City Council, city manager, mayor and a slew of involved citizens have helped make our town a nice place to shop, eat, play and work. So bring your camera when you come!
